Rockies record for season most points.
From the Rockies media guides
The Rockies are Myre's 5th NHL club in what has been a solid and consistent career. He's one of the classiest players in all of professional sports. He's excellent with the younger players on the team, especially with the defenceman in teaching and communicating with them.
While with Philadelphia, Myre played a key role in the Flyers success during the 1979-80 season. Among his wins last season was the 5-2 victory against Boston on December 22, 1979, wich broke the Montréal Canadiens league record of 28 games without a loss (Flyers later went to set a new league record of longest undefeated streak - 35 games). Myre was also in goal for the preliminary series winning 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in wich the contest went into double overtime as well as a 3-2 win in the 4th game of the semifinals against the Minnesota North stars. In 6 playoff games during the 1979-80 season, Myre had an excellent 2,50 goal against average. Last season Myre appeared in 16 games with the Flyers posting a 6-5-1 record and a 4,07 goals against average. Myre became expandable from the Flyers organization because of the steady development of Swedish goaltender Pelle Lindbergh, a Flyers chattel playing for the farm club in Maine of the American Hockey League.
He represented the Rockies on Team Canada in World Cup Championship in Sweden spring 1981.
