First game as a Mighty Duck October 11, 2002 at Dallas. Led the NHL in percentage of starts allowing two goals-or-less (83.3%, 15-of-18). Set Ducks record with 10 straight starts allowing 2 goals or less from January 3 to March 13, and equaled the longest such streak in the 2002-03 NHL season. Recorded his first career shutout Febuary 23 in Carolina. Earned his first NHL victory in his first NHL start on October 20, 2002 against the Colorado Avalanche and was also the first time in NHL history that two Swiss goaltenders squared off.
