October 3, 2000 : The Montréal Canadiens have signed Jose Théodore to a two-year contract. Théodore will get 1 million $ this year and 1,150 million $ next season. With this contract, he will also get a bonus of 675 000$ if he wins at least 15 games, plays at least 30 games and if his stats are best or equal to last season. He will report to the Québec Citadelles for conditionning.
