November 25, 2000 :The Colorado Avalanche recalled Frédéric Cassivi from the Hershey Bears of the AHL. Cassivi’s recall was necessitated when goaltender David Aebischer recently contracted pharyngitas.
January 16, 2001 : The NHL anounced that Colorado Avalanche's Patrick Roy will start for team North America at the 2001 NHL All-Star game.
January 31, 2001 :Colorado Avalanche's Patrick Roy was cleared of domestic violence in a Colorado courtroom. It has not been decided yet if the ruling will be appealed.
